Jacob gets a car and Micheal gets angry because thats how Josie was born

Josie doenst go to school one friday so that she could go out with Jacob for the day but her mum thinks she is at school 
Josie thinks shes in love with Jacob and tries to put her life together and sort things out

Plot Summary (key events that have happened):
Josie shows more interest in Nonna's past
Josie learns that nonna's first few years in Australia where really hard 
Marcus Sandford was special to Nonna because he treated her like she had rights. He treated her and nonnas sister like queens and nonna and Marcus made love so he was special.


Josie furious with Jacob Coote because he turned up to Josies house all scruffy and acted rude by grunting and had no manners when it was the first time Christina saw him or met him.

Nonna felt betrayed Francesco lied to nonnas parents 
Josie and her father form a bond which is a challenge for the both of them but Michael turns out to be amazing he such a great father.

Jacob culture is laid back and relaxed and Josies is all about impressions and values and beliefs and reputations and there cultures clash


Personal response (what do you think the chapters were about):
I think that if Josie and Jacob were willing to educate each other on there cultures then it could work out only if they respect each others traditions.
